Let Love Live ::: Buy Now

This book chronicles different snapshots in time from a vast array of people including myself. Relationships and romance can be powerful, they usually begin with perceived notions about what they have been searching for all of their lives.

Sometimes you find just what you are looking for and other times it’s a hit and miss situation. Whatever the case is, I sincerely hope you will connect with the emotions in my poems and that they will bring you joy.

Crushes can be very sweet and innocent because of the unknown. We love how we feel from what we imagine or think that person should be. These emotions can be very exhilarating but there’s the chance of getting crushed.

You think, “Wow, I’ve met the person of my dreams! We are enjoying everything about each other as we’re learning different things about each other.” Love...it’s a heavy drug. Sometimes you’re on a whirlwind and don’t know what hit you. You are discovering each other in a new way.

Is It Really Love
At some point in a relationship we have to evaluate our emotions and ask ourselves, Is this really Love? Some address these questions early while others come to this introspection much later in a relationship. These assessments can help us to understand how profoundly beautiful our love is, or that our relationships leave us unfulfilled. Navigating our emotions and critically answering these questions can be very challenging. This chapter of poems is about the process of understanding ourselves, our needs and finding a path to fulfillment.

Relationships and Breakups
What is this strong connection with another person that keeps us in a relationship? For each of us, the response will be different. Some relationships endure a lifetime as the two progressively   become one. Others are like a flash thunderstorm; they strike quickly, intensely, and leave us shaken in the aftermath. The transition out of a relationship can be difficult, but we must show the strength to accept it and move forward. Even when we know the relationship is not going the way we anticipated, can we be mature enough to know when to let it go? Lasting relationships depends on our ability to adapt in challenging times which can lead to personal growth and provide us with profound life lessons.

Everlasting Love
I am reminded of the famous biblical verses on love taken from I Corinthians 13:4-8
“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always hopes. Always perseveres. Love never fails….”

Very few people are truly able to experience this precious form of love. That’s why if and when you do, it should be cherished forever.

So enjoy and
